"With its vibratory and circular drone approach, the Uruguayan project Phalioo gently caresses our eardrums. The waves that crash over us are well balanced and provide almost instant relaxation. The music offered to us is devoid of haste, breathes at the right pace, and encourages us to keep up with it. However, the route is not homogeneous, since the artist knows how to manipulate environments effectively, walking between several minimalist niches, each one more astonishing than the other. While some segments are more vibrant than others, all the work nonetheless keeps us spellbound, aptly integrating various vocal samples that fit beautifully within the throbbing structures. Echo Waves is a bit like an introspective walk on the beach at sunrise, it is a moment of contemplation that heals us, that aligns us with the essential.
